Swimming and beaches

You're spoilt for choice in Oxelösund when it comes to beaches thanks to the great variety available. Unpack your picnic and enjoy views across the open sea from the rocks at Femöre, bulid a sandcastle on the beach at Stenvik, play beach volleyball and sunbath at Jogersö, or take a morning dip at Vivesta Havsbad.
Remember to keep distance to others this summer, 2 meters or more. It includes lines to public restrooms, diving towers, ice cream stands and other things that might be a place for queues.

Jogersö Havsbad - Long sandy beach with all facilities

Jogersö Havsbad is Sörmland's largest seaside resort. It's a popular place to swim with many visitors and a large capacity. The swimming area is naturally located with sandy beach, rocks and grassy areas, perfect for your blanket. Thereare also jetties, a diving tower, beach volleyball, mini-golf, kayak rental, cafe ande large green areas for fun games. Changing rooms and toilets are also available. Jogersö Camping and restaurant Jogersö are located next to the seaside resort. There is also a recreational area with jogging track.

Femöre - Beautiful island with swimming from rocks

Femöre is an island offering many opportunities. Just a short walk from the center you can enjoy the lapping waves right up close, without access to a boat. The smooth rocks are perfect for swimming, sunbathing and picnics. The views and nature are both beautiful and unique all year round, Find your own favourite bay or your very own rocks. There are also beautiful areas for walking in the countryside if you tire of swimming and sunbathing.

Stenvik - Child friendly and central

a small cosy swimming area for the family with sandy beach, rocks, jetty, grassy areas, swings and toilets all within walking distance of the centre and guest harbour in Badhusviken.

Vivesta Havsbad - Scenic swimming in a beautiful surroundings

Vivesta is a small picturesque place to swim, with a sandy beach beautifully located by the rocks. It has a small playground, toilets and a beach cafe. There are also beautiful surroundings for those of you who enjoy walking and admiring sea views.

Islands Beten and Äspskär

Two islands which you can reach by private boat or through M/S Fiskeskär. It departures at 10.00 and 15.30 every day from 1 July to 15 August. Read more here.

Make sure there is not a fire ban at the time before you light a fire in nature. Even the disposable ones might cause danger.
